Valhalla beta users?
I've been messing around with the new Valhallavintageverb beta tonight and have made some very nice stuff with the new Smooth plate algorithm. Sean has said his favorite is the new Dirty Hall. I have requested the Ubermod beta tonight and was just wondering if anyone else has been testing these?

I wrote to him last week asking when the AAX would be past beta. I want to avoid beta testing but want to buy the remaining Valhalla reverbs I don't have as soon as they have the AAX compatibility.

Curiosity got the better of me. I finally broke down about a week ago and installed the Valhalla VST betas. Have not spend much time playing with them but they appear to work OK.

I wrote a long reply that isn't here anymore...This forum still has some issues. The short story is...Sean said there will be another beta phase after this one, so it will be awhile. Here's a quick list of changes other than the AAX thing. 1. VVV has 6 new algorithms 2. Vroom has one new algorithm 3. Freq echo is still free, but now 64bit with new Futura style as VVV. (several other upgrades.) 4. Shimmer and Ubermod has no changes.

There are cases where Akismet automatically blocks legitimate posts containing URLs because they appear to be spam. It can be frustrating but Akismet is effective in preventing the spam attacks of the recent past.

No...getting rid of spam is worth it. I noticed this morning that Sean from Valhalla had posted that he had to have these released in the next few weeks due to changes in the website...so maybe it won't be long after all.

I didn't even know that there were new beta's in the works. I am pumped now. VVV is my #1 go to.

The Vintage Verb has 6 new reverb modes: Dirty Hall, Dirty Plate, Smooth Plate, Smooth Room, Smooth Random, Nonlin The betas are available on request http://valhalladsp.com/aax-updates

I wonder if the updates will be free when they come out, or at least discounted?
