Addictive Drums 2 and maps in general

I'm probably being naive here, but I have a couple of map questions, if you will.

1) Why does using a map make is so that if you SOLO a track, the whole drumkit goes silent?
-----(10 mins. later:  Okay, have to solo the MIDI track to get the outputs to receive data -- got it.)

2) Has anyone noticed that the assignments in piano roll for Addictive Drum pieces are incorrect?

3) When I open AD2 and tell Sonar to create all the instrument channels, several of the drums are on the same stereo track, left and right.  Is there a way to make them each come up on one track, separately?

-----(10 mins. later: Okay, the individual assignments in mono can be selected, per track -- got it.)

Thanks,

1. if you only have one midi track if you solo any one voice say your snare audio you need to solo the midi so you can hear it.  However if solo the snare in the map only that will sound without the need to solo the audio.

2. What map are you using? I only have AD 1 which we got if you purchased SONAR X3 pre the release of AD 2 is the map you are using actually the one for AD 1.

3. This is because AD(2) has assigned them to a single stereo pair internally you need to assign them to the separate outs within AD(2) and save that kit as a pre-set.

Thank you, Wook!  The only thing now is the assignments in Piano Roll.

Yes, I'm using AD2 and the Cakewalk-supplied map (just got it tonight from the site).

You can edit the supplied map to the correct settings and save as new modified map.

In AD find the mixer page and it should let you assign each drum to a specific out within AD just make sure that each AD out is assigned to an in within SONAR.  Look at the I/O input on each audio channel there is a drop down box which will show all the available input sources.
