X Ray & Plugins

Got a few new plugins and some work with xray and others don't, there all VST3.
Why would one set work and the others such as Waves don't?

IDK, if Waves plug-ins have X-Ray issues any more. I don't have any Waves plug-ins. Historically there have been issues with X-Ray. There is an XRayExclude.ini in your user directory which excludes all Waves plug-ins by default. Also the Cakewalk.ini contains specific exceptions for certain Waves plug-ins at the end of the file.

hmmm wonder why they'd want to include and exclude some over others.
    Thanks!

Not sure what the specific exclusions in Cakewalk.ini are all about. I believe all Wave plug-ins are excluded by virtue of the XRayVendorExclude1=Waves line in XRayExclude.ini.
