So what would you buy for $25?

I'm torn on this one. I wouldn't mind getting something for Dimension Pro or Rapture, but I never use them so I don't know what to get. I have a couple of friends who have nice keyboards...anything in the store that they would like? Maybe I should buy the Sonar X3 groove 3 video?

I have his X2 video. I believe 9 of the 11 hours I already have. That is why I was thinking about the Groove 3 one.

Do you have Craig Andeton's X1 videos http://www.store.cakewalk.com/b2cus/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=10-X1AB1.00-20E? If not I would buy them first. More techniques and tricks less process and procedure.

I may wait and apply it to the Sonar X4 upgrade.

hmmm. I don't know. This is why we need Cakewalk coffee mugs. It's a shame the Sound center is 32bit or I would consider the Steinway piano. The complete Groove 3 video seems to cost more today, but I could be wrong about that.

Got some drums for SD3. Added 4.99 maybe I'll use them. You can't have too many drums.

I may just get the melodyne vid. The groove3 melodyne tuts are good and The training vids on the melodyne site are great but this is the only sonar specific melodyne training series.

I'm thinking about getting the shirt! I would probably be the only person around here with a Cakewalk shirt. Maybe I can cover the Boston, Ma with a little Razorback!

I scoured the store looking for something of value for about $25, but I couldn't find anything that interested me. Instead I'm looking at applying the $25 towards a discount on either of the following:

    1. Syntorial
    2. DSF HD Steinway Grand (for Dimension)
    3. Jazz Brushes (for AD2)
    4. Reel Machines (for AD2)

Syntorial could be the most beneficial in the long run since I need some help in the patch design area.  The HD Steinway kit could be nice but I already have the TruePiano "Amber" kit (came with X2?) and a good Piano in the almighty JV-1010. The AD2 pack "Reel Machines" sounds really good and will most likely be quite versatile. Maybe it'll push me away from the thought of getting a hardware drum machine!  The AD2 pack "Jazz Brushes" sounds great, but I'd probably never going to get it to sound as good as the demos!

Overall, I agree.  There needs to be some Sonar mugs!

I have the DSF Hollywood Effects for Dimension Pro - but if you don't have that yet, that would be a good one to consider.  It has some cool stuff in it for your bag of tricks.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

A while back, in another one of these "sales," I picked up the DSF "Atmospheric Energy" soundset for DimPro.  It has some great patches/samples in it, but alas, I hardly ever use it! Doh!

I also got the Groove 3 video for X3........I, however, am sure it will show me quite a few things I don't know......I always need all the help I can get. :))
Also got the Justin Harris soundpack for Z3ta+.
