How is the Melda mautovolume?

mautovolume is on the 50% off sale now.
I've been wanting one of these ever since waves came out with one.
How's the Melda? Does it do what it needs to do? It is cheap, only about 30 USD with the current sale.

All Melda plug-ins have a 15 day fully functional demo. The video for MAutovolume is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRyBsvJwmYE&feature=youtu.be Try it, if it meets your needs the demo converts to the full version by adding the license file.

I'm really done with Melda stuff.  I have some and they are powerful.  I'm tired of the ongoing sales.

I keep saying that, but this time I've looked into the MAutoVolume and it looks pretty useful.  I guess it will be a good one to add to the arsenal.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

MAutoVolume does what it claims, and is cheaper than most other products of its kind, even at the non-discounted price. 30 bucks would be a low-risk experiment if you think you need something like that.

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that volume automation plugins are gimmicks and not the time-savers you'd hope them to be. Good ol' manual automation envelopes may be more time-consuming but ultimately deliver vastly superior results.

But then, I don't work under deadlines like some people do. If you crank out commercial mixes on an hourly basis, it might be a great investment. If you're a hobbyist like me, though, time constraints aren't an issue, just getting good results.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
