Cakewalk The Survey - it is too difficult for me
*5 Thinking about your favorite software or music technology products and services, what features and/or benefits do you most like about these products? I have thought about this question for about half an hour. I still do not have a begin of an answer.

Time is money Zonno and it's just a $25.00 voucher. Glad I didn't get the email...I'd probably end up owing them.

I do wonder how much thought people put into these answers and whether they're prepared to write any old thing to get their payola. The New York Daily News website has this ridiculous thing now where you have to answer a couple of survey questions to read the full article. I have absolutely no idea why anyone would place monetary value on the answers to these questions (and you know that someone somewhere is paying for them) because I just click the mouse a few times at random to get rid of them and I'm sure everyone else does as well. God knows what "answers" I've given.

For the real fans there's the "can we call you" question at the end of the survey. If you checked yes, then I'd suggest that you actually put some thought into the answers. I'm waiting for the call, but It's been almost 48 hrs.........

They didn't allow a write in vote on this one or I'd have chosen, "I visit the Coffee House, does that count?"

I got the Overloud VKFX chorus and delay plugins for my trouble. It seemed like a reasonable trade.

We actually got a lot of value feedback. The hard part is reading through the thousands of answers but we are working on it. In general, people seemed to be pretty happy to contribute ideas and we are very appreciative.

no, he said "we're working on it." I take that to mean they've hired 10,000 Chinese immigrant children to read and interpret each survey, then they use monkeys to collate and filter the results into usable data (in music production terms, think: compression). Once placed into appropriate categories, they redistribute back into a set of work instructions which are flowed down from the top to bottom (think: dynamic range expansion). so basically they end up where they started...

And I finally picked up the Galbanum Architecture Waveforms for just five bucks of my own money. Absolutely a reasonable investment of my time, but particularly if my input is headed.

I honestly did not expect to find anything i wanted that i did not already have for under $25 but wanted to take the survey as an opportunity to express my thoughts. So many people complain AFTER the fact while ignoring the opportunity to offer input. I know no company can implement every customer's desires (especially since some conflict), but speaking up gives me a better chance than saying nothing. I got the Meloydyne video. Appreciate the $25 discount!

I also got the Groove3 X3 Vid and a Z3ta+ soundpack for free :).....however, it's been 2 days and still no serial number for either one (which is unusual as I normally get serials under a day or less). Under the description tab in my account, it doesn't even show as the Z3ta+ soundpack (Justin somebody etc..), but rather still shows as "unassigned". Karyn, very strange that you didn't get the survey.....especially with having "connections"??

Somehow, I received another email from Cake with " [Last Chance] Take our survey & spend your $25 coupon by Friday".......I thought they're being very charitable with this $25 coupon/desperate for opinions and actually filled out the survey ( a bit more detailed this time), but the coupon code is the same as the previous one and stated it's already been used. No biggie. I know Karyn didn't get a survey email, and now I get 2???.......go figure.
