Alchemy not found in virtual instruments

Hello,

i have Music Creator 6 touch (from steam) and i tried to import the alchemy synth, but i cannot find it in the virtual instruments.
I have added the correct  directory to the plugins directory (C:\Program Files(x86)\VSTPlugins) using the 32bit version (alchemy.dll) as i read somewhere that 32bit versions where only supported. (tried 64 bit to)

Now i can see it on the plugin it seems to detect alchemy, and i have add it to my profile, but when i try to selected there, it is not to be found.
I also downloaded the trail of sonar x3 to see if a upgrade to this version would work, but its the same issue.

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong here?

thanks :)

MC6T is a 32bit app so don't bother to install the 64bit version of Alchemy. After installing the 32bit version, try running MC6T as administrator. To run as administrator right-click the MC6T icon and select the option or set the option permanently in the icon properties Compatibility tab.

    Hi,

a yes thats wat i read, MC6 was 32bit, so you indeed need the 32bit alchemy which i have installed sir. Anyway ill try to run it as admin in a moment as its updating now (trying this on a other PC just to be sure). but just to be clear.. it should be there under virtual instrument right? and so MC6 does support alchemy? or do it need to upgrade to sonar x3 base?

As long as the dll is in the VST scan path and the plug-in is scanned it should show up in the instrument lists.
