What are you watching for for Black Friday?

You know it's coming - and you know you want something. :)

My list is pretty short. I would like to get my hands on the Softube Abbey Roads Brilliance Pack, or perhaps the Grand Channel.

Most likely I will end up with something that I just had to have - but didn't know I needed.

I'll be watching out for my wife! What she doesn't know can't hurt her, but seriously I'm in a pretty good place here. I don't really need anything...so someone will have to have a huge sell to tempt me. I'm thinking about getting a new Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Plus with the personality cards. They are $1499. She would probably notice that!

Ha! Yeah, she's liking that! I've got to take care of a few things...and then it's probably new Strat time.

So you know the whole story...My daughter was stopped at a light and was hit on a off ramp totaling her car (She was fine). We had just put in a new engine 7000 miles before so we thought we were going to lose a lot of money on the deal. The other drivers insurance ended up paying us $3100 more than we owed on the car, so we ended up pretty much even. We gave my daughter our 2009 Fusion and bought my wife a new VW Jetta Sport. So I'll wait until we clear all of the loans up and then...It's new Strat time!

Omnisphere never goes on sale at spectrasonics.  your best bet is a great coupon at musicians friend or Guitar center and buy it that way.  I think I got omnisephere for $320 out the door at guitar center one year with a really good coupon.

I'm looking out for a truly great sale on Soundtoys and the yearly refx Nexus 2 sale, need some addons.

I sort of busted the budget not just for for Black Friday, but also for Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter and my next birthday. :/

Maybe a Waves plug-in if it's a really good deal.

I'm watching th Toontrack release as well.  I am waiting to see if X4 comes out.  Possibly a new computer, I've got some $$ set aside for that.

I really don't need anything.  I am only picking up items that are exceptional deals at this point....if I am sure that I will use them extensively.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I'm not holding me breath for an upgrade to Komplete Ultimate 10 on sale until next summer at the earliest.

Have no idea what I want really. Guess I'll probably let the companies decide for me by waving candy in front of my face as usual. Omnisphere would be nice. Or maybe I'll keep my eye out for a new Kontakt library or sample pack. Could use some new drum loops to chop & mangle.

. . . had a dream I was composing a masterpiece with Spitfire Audio orchestral samples for Kontakt 5 crisp and clean
. . . then woke up and realized stuff like that probably never actually goes on sale, and I could probably still not afford it on sale anyways, but still I will check their site on Nov 28th . . . gotta' dream big.

Broken Wurli - I own that. It's very nice. Lots of character. One of my favorites!

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

Since I got Meldas MSpectralDynamics I feel I have most of the stuff that has been on my wishlist. Weird feeling... There are some that I'd buy if the price is really, really good. Like Waves J37 for example. Really liked the demo of that one.

Yeah, too early for a Komplete 10 upgrade offer. There is not a lot on my wish list at the moment, expendature will probably go on new releases, I am looking out for Orange Tree's new guitar library.

Oh, and I would like Drumcore 4 software I pre-ordered in January.

Arrrggggh. Just got the email. Still at 99 UK pounds (less if you are outside the EU) its not chump change and I do have quite a lot of vintage synth emulations already.

I'm holding out for Waves Aphex Aural Exciter for 50 bucks, Black Friday or some other future sale - whatever.  Seems like it was that price a while ago but I went for Waves Vitamin (same sale price) instead - didn't feel like spending a hundred bucks that day.

I so *totally* do *not* need another synth.  But if the Papen Blue 2 price ever dipped below 100 bucks, I'm pretty sure all resistance would crumble. Fortunately, that's probably never going to happen anytime soon.
