Back to whatever normality is.

Hi peeps been a little unwell had a couple of visits to hospital over the last seven days which included a four day stay with cannula and tubes stuck in my arms and paws, they had to shave the back of my paws and still said they could not find a vein.

Need more tests but I Am feeling a little more my furry self now I Am back at The 4077.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Last time I had an IV it took four people seven attempts to get one in. Not counting the person holding me down. One of those stabs must have really torn something up inside because my arm hurt for the next three weeks.

Glad you're back, Wookie. At least now you can confidently use the word "cannula" in a sentence, or Scrabble.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Glad you survived the trip Wookiee.
After my trip I had a book of words but few of them were fit for scrabble
or worth repeating for that matter.
I'm also still wearing the branding marks. They don't hurt but will always be there to remind me
    of my trip.
Memory is a funny thing too...things I'd like to forget I can't but seem to have no problem forgetting
things I think would be good to remember.
I guess a list of tunes that will traumatize a guitarist would be useful.

Thanks good peeps of the CH.

As for the memories Spacey, eight different cannula scars and two blown veins plus several interesting moments of delusion caused by the codeine, paracetamol and morphine running through the blood stream.  They did seem a little concerned about the green blood.

I would think they'd be more concerned about their own life expectancy.

    I'm GLAD you are OK!
I saw the title of the thread and it made me leap for joy on the inside... just to know that it is possible for things to "go back to norbal".

    Thank you!

Glad to have you back and hope all is OK.

And for me "whatever" pretty much sums up the normal state of affairs.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Maybe not immediately, but once that Wookiee isn't in pain anymore, there may be soggy bits flying around.
