VST3 & Prochannel FX chains - is it something jiggy?

I tried automating a few (VST3) controls loaded into in an fx preset prochannel control - bang, zoom, kaboom... I've had no problem in the past with VST2 controls, so, umm....

Anybody know anything?

Just to be clear, you're talking about a VST3 plug-in in an FX chain inside the ProChannel?
