We can give you hints after you have given us your PC and soundcard /driver specs, and the version of X3 you're running.
It's not a question about computer power but the settings and drivers, usually.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

...with drivers being a huge factor, including graphics card drivers.

Thanks for any help, Also I would like to get some pre-made acoustic guitar loops to save time instead of using my guitar in any info on that but main concern is crashing when recording a song.

Check to make sure you're running the latest drivers for your device, you can get that info here:
    http://www.roland.com/support/article/?q=downloads&p=VS-100

Within SONAR, go to Edit > Preferences (advanced) > Audio > Playback and Recording and make sure that your Driver Mode is set to ASIO and select [Apply].

See if that works for you.
