Like the "power supply unit" meeting he was typing up on his laptop? :) @ 4:35 I would like to visit for a day but I don't think I would last long there. Certainly wish I had the skills to make plugins though.

the grass is always greener.... what I hear most from ex-IT pros is how nice it is to just go home without having to bring their work along too

I think most IT pros are working in fields that aren't that inspiring. Data management and analysis is a PITA, unless you really love it. There are people that will love the products being built and deployed, and some who always wanted to be doing something else but working in a personally unfulfilling market segment. I'm just glad the video had english captions because my german is rusty, my japanese is nil.
