I tried to insert a link, but I understand that you have to have so many posts to do that. I've been a member here for years, but my logon didn't work, so I had to re-register.

You're a good guy, Herb. Yes it was most definitely worth hearing! It is Big Time. Radio ready as far as I'm concerned. Great tune and performances. Welcome to the board.

Like this, nice style! Personally for me the vocals a little bit too far forward and not pushed into the mix enough, but great song :)

Thanks Herb. Pug & David - Thanks for the kind words. I just remixed this this morning, and brought the vocal up a bit. Maybe I over did it. Regards, Bob

Don't be second guessing yourself and start messing up the mix..... I have a tendency to do that too.....looking for perfection but that's not necessary.....a good song shines through the nits and warts of a mix. If I was going to do anything to the mix I'd shorten the intro but aside from adding some sparkle.... the total silent break at the end of the intro was a bit awkward sounding.... that's about it. Everything I'd change is pretty much right there in the intro. Great song.... but you already know that. Listening on cans..... yeah the vox are a bit hot..... not overly so though.... they make it easy to hear the words....always a good thing in a country song. Of course you know me..... I'd do a few things different in the mix but that's not even important.

Herb, I hear ya. I'm usually more concerned about just getting it down, but when I'm pitching something I get really nit-picky. Just waiting for the rejections to start rolling in now. Bapu, Thanks for the kind words. Regards, Bob

Catchy tune, nicely performed and arranged. Love the choices you made for the instrumentation. Nice mix too, sounds good here, though I'd personally like to hear a little more punch on the drums. Agree with Guitarhacker about the abrupt break near the beginning, but otherwise not much more to add.
