Black Rotten Sheep Apple - new Kicksville track

howdy y'all -

Here's this week's release (and the big season finale): http://kicksville.bandcamp.com/track/black-rotten-sheep-apple

We figured we'd cap things off with what's usually the last song of the the live show - a right proper drinking song. You know, the "end up in the E.R. covered in bruises and piss but don't remember how you got there" kind of drinking song.

And with that, I really want to thank you all again for flying Kicksville - we know you have many options, and we appreciate you choosing us. Now let's go have a bloody pint!

A very nice cheerful song. Splendid work all the way. Mix was good.

Well, that's not what I expected.  It is fun and I have been to that place.  If I didn't have the lyrics in front of me I wouldn't have been able to understand the words.  It really sounded like a live mix done at the club.  IMO.  Fun stuff!

Thanks, y'all! Warren - a large chunk of the recording was pretty much live in the studio, and any overdubs were 1 take, no editing. This one ain't exactly The Black Page, so we wanted to keep it as fresh and raw as it sounds live. And, we do our best to not be predictable....thanks for noticing
