(solved) How to make a .cwb that includes audio?

Hey guys,
I'd like to send a project to another Sonar X user for them to tweak and mix.
I have frozen all VSTs and there are 3 vox tracks.
If I try to do a save-as Cakewalk Bundle, the "copy all audio with project" is greyed out.
Can someone tell me how to get the project with audio in one folder to email to someone?
Thanks very much,
Randy

I haven't made a bundle file in a long time. When I did I didn't have any trouble doing so.
One more thing. Bundle files are all about audio it may be that you don't have to explicitly tell Sonar to include audio.
By change what is the bit depth of the audio?

The "copy all audio with project" option is used when saving a regular cakewalk project (cwp) to a new location. Bundles (cwb) always include the audio files, no need for the option.

The opening the saved cwb it shows the audio on my local drive though.
So maybe I should save as cwp and select include audio and then send that folder
Thanks guys,
Randy

It will unpack the files to your drive when you open it. Thats normal.

When SONAR opens a bundle it must extract the project file and audio from the bundle to a new location. IOW, SONAR does not directly read and write to the bundle format. The bundle format is primarily used for creating a single file to send to someone else like you have described above. Alternately, with per-project audio files enabled, you could use the "Save As" function and save the project with the "copy all audio with project" enabled to a new folder, zip the new folder and use the zip instead of a bundle.

Ohhh, so it wasn't referencing my local audio at all, it was asking me where to put the audio from the cwb right?

Personally I kinda get nervous around compression type file formats. Just me.
But no harm done if you have your back ups.
So if it's OK to use full sized files, I'd just do the "save as" to a USB drive and send that to my friend. Then everything is 100% preserved. This does involve the physical delivery of the drive.
You can also drag and drop the Songs folder to the drive.
Apparently bundle files are good at stripping out un used audio files. Your friend will only get the audio that is used in the open project before saving.
When working back and forth, make sure to keep the original back ups with dates.
