***From RealBand and BIAB to SONAR X2***

Does anyone go from Realband or BIAB into Sonar? Both programs have "plug-in" modes that allow you to run them "atop" of Sonar and drag and drop. My problem is that the programs won't open with Sonar already open because Sonar is using the ASIO driver. I tried the Steinberg multi-wrapper and just get error messages. Any insight would be greatly appreciated,---thanks!

In the audio part of preferences under the Playback and recording tab tick the box to share drivers with other programs

Hello chuckd;
I don't remember exactly the config process but You have to specify "MME" (audio drivers ?) in the BIAB preferences.
When I have time, I will look exactly

Exactly, with MME drivers in BiaB and ASIO drivers in Sonar the plug in mode works perfectly.  You can find the audio drivers in BiaB under opt/preferences/MIDI driver.

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

Ah, but Wookie has the best answer, IMO.  I told chuckd in a PM he sent to me to change his sonar preferences to share ASIO driver with other programs and that worked perfectly for him.
