Almost bought something

Hi. I went to a music shop to check if there was any nice soft synths that would possibly inspire me musically. And... YES!! There they were. Nice Arturia made soft synths for a good price, 69 € (about 80 $) each, just waiting for me to buy them. Minimoog V, Moog
Modular V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V. But wait. Something is wrong. Oh crap! I already have the Arturia Analog Experience, which contain about a thousand sounds from these very synths. Arrgh! So I guess it is not a good deal for me anyway. Or is it? Anybody there that has Arturia's Analog Experience and one or more of these other synths? Tell me your experiences about these synths, please. Also, now that I probably will leave Arturia brand alone I would like to buy myself something else nice that would boost my inspirational spirit. That means I would like to hear some suggestions about music software that you think would be good for sound exploration , like soft synths, or for other musically inspiring things. I already own, in addition to just mentioned synths: Reaktor 5, Largo, Fm8, Halion Sonic 1. But please no suggestions that require a credit card. Also it should be less than 150 $. Sorry for the length of the story.

I have the V collection which includes the analog experience and all the individual synths. The big difference is in the programmability. While analogue experience gives you some basic tweaks it does not have the full feature set.

This is particularly true of the Moog modular and ARP 2600 which have very extensive patching options.

Thank you for your comment Glyn. I was actually thinking of getting the Modular before I remembered that I got the Experience thing. More programmability is a good thing but I am notoriously bad/lazy programmer so not sure how much it will help me.

If you own an Arturia product and you have registered it you will no doubt get an offer at some point to buy the V Collection at a silly price.

I purchased the V Collection even though I already owned the Modular V, ARP 2600 V, CS 80 V, Prophet 5 V and analogue lab, because the price for the entire V Collection worked out less than buying the ones I did not have i.e.  Wurlitzer V, Jupiter 8 V, SEM V  Mini V, analogue laboratory which is different from the analogue lab.

The other advantage of owning the V Collection is that it gives you access to all the editors in analogue lab which makes that a really sweet tool.

Thank you John for your comment and tip. I think I will wait and see if I see something good and then buy it. I saw Kore 2 for a 100 €, but I think it is a bit much as it is so old and might not be easy to register.

I picked up the whole V collection for $99 a while back, so you may see a similar deal in the future.

If you like somthing with a lot of presets and some tweakability also look at Synthmaster. http://www.kv331audio.com/

You have probably just missed the Black Friday sale, but there are often offers. I would suggest Standard is the package to go for, then add presets that you are intrested in.

Nori Ubukata's Historic Synth Giants preset packs are so good they are almost unusable for anything but a cover because they sound so close to the original records. But you can tweak them any way you want.

I have the Synthmaster Cm which has a couple of good sounds that I use. Yesterday I was thinking about getting the Komplete 9, but it is too expensive. If I could get some money from doing music I would get it, but that has happened only once and I only got 50 €, about 60 $. I think I have enough synths, but I don't do enough tweaking to get good sounds. Still, a great sounding synth would be nice. Also I have heard about kind of inspirational software that would help write music. I once got snippets of trance music intended to inspire but I lost it.
