PRO Channel presets
I found those presets at that link http://www.cakewalk.com/P...SONAR/Preset-Zone.aspx]http://web.archive.org/we...SONAR/Preset-Zone.aspx[/link] Yesterday, I realised that the presets I had on X1 were gone for others in X3. So, I found those presets in the X1 folder on my drive. My 2 questions are: 1- Are the presets in X1 could be used in X3? and if yes, how do I make them come in X3 (Can I copie that preset folder in the X3 folder?) 2- If those presets in the link up here are good for X3. I have download them and how do I make them appear in X3 (copie on the X3 folder?) Oufff!! I know it's alot of question but I loved those presets I had in X1. I didn't mix for the past few weeks and I'm closed to start soon so I hope I don't have to return to X1 Thank you

I recommend you do not use them. The Preset Zone was shut down by CW because some of the presets could cause problems.

Thank's John, I will take your advice for sure. I hate to have problems. So, I'm gonna take what's there and from there to make my own presets.

I don't think any presets were included. That is a good point and maybe a feature request is in order for bundling them with the program. Personally I miss the Preset Zone.

When I open the preset icon in X3 I see 3 Bass presets 5 Bus presets 2 Drum presets 8 Guitar presets 4 Master presets 3 Miscellaneous presets 1 Piano preset 2 Synth presets 4 Vocal presets I am not sure if they came with X3 or I copied them from a previous version. Apparently as John mentioned, some of the Preset Zone files have issues with X3. If I were to add them to a current installation, I would put them in a separate subdirectory. The preset folder location is stored in the registry and should be displayed in the file browser when the preset folder icon is clicked at the top of the ProChannel.

Now, I'm minded to create my own preset...there's a alot of guitar player maybe around here LOL...but I'll miss the toms preset that was in X1 and a Bass drum preset that a friend of mine made for me...OOOOHHH!!!! Creativity!!! come to me please!! It come more easy with the music... It's fun anyway!!!

I always wondered why cake just didn't have some intern go through and correct the bad ones? Same thing with the bad presets on Pentagon.
