Muted Tracks

After I open a project and mute several tracks, I save the song and close it. 
When I open the song again, the tracks are no longer muted. This does not happen on all songs however.
What am I missing?

    If its just happening on this one project, i would think that project got corrupted. I have not seen your issue, so this is why i'm thinking your project is corrupted.
    You could try inserting all the tracks into a new project to see if that fixes it.
