Is this possible with Addictive Drums and AudioSnap?

I know how to use AudioSnap with Addictive Drums for drum replacement but I only know how to replace one drum at a time per instance of SD2. I was looking at the information in the piano roll from a session where I replaced the live bass drum with a bass drum from SD2 and I discovered that I could add to the piano roll, by hand, single drum hits for other drums. Is it possible to create a piano roll track for SD2 that has information from multiple sources of transients that have been created by AudioSnap? Can you use AudioSnap to create transients for all of the individual drums in a live multi-tracked kit and dump this information track by track to a single instance of SD2? If so how do you do it? It would be great if I could control a single instance of Addictive Drums with multiple sources of transients and swap entire kits. Isn't this how step sequencers work? What type of file is created with a step sequencer? Is it a particular type of MIDI file and if so could you use AudioSnap created transients to create this file track by track layer by layer? Sorry for the incoherent rambling question. This seems like a no brainer to me but my brain can't figure out how to do it if it's possible ...........

Thanks,
Rick Jones

    Hi,
    if I understand right
    there are  recorded drum  tracks,
I would use melodyne (using a copy of the original track)
    and create a melodyne track.
Then dragging the melodyne " track" to a midi -track which creates a midi file of the audio track.
    Then having fun.......
    Hope that helps
