from my experience, multiband compression does more harm than good, in the wrong hands. the quickest way to KILL your dynamics, is to use a MBC

Any effect does more harm than good in the wrong hands. Especially mine!

ok, i'll try to clarify what i thought was obvious,.... again, IMHO, MBC is one of the easiest things to screw up, and i hear it quite often. of all the plugins to phuck up, that's number one in my book. brickwall limiting being number 2.

Cool article! The MultiBand is one of those plug-ins I mostly avoid and I'm always very cautious around, but I like to read about it an try to learn more.
