Thought I would have a listen as I deleted the duplicate.

Larry does have such a wonderful touch, is that your keys etc in support Tim?

This sounds very nice here you should both take a bow.

Duplicates happen that is part of what us host's are here for contrary to what some may think.

As I said re your and Larry's tune you should both take a bow it is a very enjoyable tune and the mix translates well here.

Very nice, relaxing kind of song. Very minor criticism is that the water sound ends a bit abruptly.

Very nice both of you! The only mix suggestion I would have is that all of the instruments are sort of on top of each other, so it is difficult to hear a lot of what's going on behind the guitar.

    nice blending in the mix....

the louder you listen to this, the better the mix works.

it's a smooth sounding eq overall,
    sometimes sounds a bit dull,
but adding high end could make it a bit shrill......
tough call, exactly where it works the best,
but in this version, it is very pleasing and easy to listen to.

    especially loud.
    LOL

if you keep working the mix,
try mixing it at a real low volume,
just to see what pops out and what disappears.
make some very small adjustments, and that should do it.
    nice tune.

Very nice.  The tones are good and natural sounding.  Things are a bit on top of each other as stated earlier but it's OK with me.  I love the purity of it all.  I really like the laid back energy.  Cruzin'...

Tim - you've really gotten quite good at mixing.  this one is no exception.

love that acoustic sound!  the pads, keys, strings - other keyboard parts are quite cool in this.

I'd like to have heard some more variety in the chords, tho.

Really nice work, Tim.  Although the instruments are sort of on top of each other in spots, I think the mix still has a lot of depth and clarity.   All of the playing is beautifully done and fits the title well!

    Hi, Tim,

Really, really nice, another great collab with Larry!

Gorgeous piece of music, well written and played, and you've got a nice, wide, clean mix.  Very relaxing with a fresh sounding blend of keys and synths around Larry's beautiful guitar work!

Excellent work, my friend, good stuff!

Ok... you fooled me.... I thought this was a cover of the Emmylou Harris tune.... and then remembered THAT song is "Beneath Still Waters"......

    Warren- Thank you!

Wookie- Thank you! Sorry for that duplicate. Not sure why that sometimes happens.

Kakku- Thanks for your comments. I'll see about that water sound...maybe have it reduce to a trickle before stopping.

Dan- I changed this mix some...hopefully I cleared most of that up. Thanks!

Bat- I hear ya on the mix levels. I was at around -6  -8  levels at mixing. Maybe go -12 and mix from there? I'll play a bit moere with it. Thanks for listening and for your helpful comments!

Rimshot- I owe that laid back feel to Mr Larry...He is a laid back peacful dude and I guess some of that rubbed off. Thanks.

    thepouge-  Thanks!

    Mark- Thank You!

SteveC- I think I know where you're referring to in the music. There are a few places that have things happening at the same time almost in tandem but not quite. I made a call that it was close but not terribly bad. My alternative was to drop too much out of the mix, but maybe I'll play with that a  bit more to see if I can refine it some. Thanks!

Bob- I owe the credits to larry for all of that fine guitar work...he does top notch work. I feel as if i was just spruceing it up...thanks man! I appreciate your OP!

Herb- Well I gues I would rather be beside the still waters instead of under them any day ;)...thanks!!
