S3 Files in S4 - A bad idea?

IN one thread today, someone mentioned that they kept Sonar 3 loaded to work on legacy files that were made in S3 - instead of loading them into S4 due to instability problems with the S3 files. No one dissented to this opinion.

Is there a consensus?

based on my experience .. S4 with the patch is as stable as
    S3 ... haven't had any problems w/ it .. in fact, i've had
considerably fewer drop out problems with S4.

i haven't had to go back to S3 for anything so far...

I am finding that all of the S3 files that I have mixed in S4 are quite stable and have had no apparent problems thus far.
