X3, but no video, and no support,..

Hi There :-)
 
New user, I jumped into the X3 studio offer, but never recieved the promissed free video gift, (as seen on frontpage),..
 
Done everything I should, registrered, and waited 24 hours for the "free offers/giveaway"-section to show up in user-area
 
Finally thoursday I wrote support for help, but never heard back,..... and still no video !!!
 
Should I expect to hear from support after the weekend ? or never to hear from them ? how long does it normally take ?
 
Does things normally get cluttered up this way in shop/support ?
 
Despite this first-hand experience I hope for the better, and thanks in advance for any answer/help :-)

    The video appears to be a little slow adding to user accounts, you are not alone. Support is closed for a long holiday (one of the few times in the year). I expect it will be resolved Monday. The store does get hit hard during sales and sometime things get backed up. They always get sorted out.
     
    FYI, you do not have enough posts to add links. Don't worry about it. Cakewalk will take care of you.

    Most American businesses shut down for their thanksgiving holiday on Thursday and through the weekend. Monday should be better.

    It's now nearly midnight on Monday here in the UK and I have my serial for xln drums but nothing in my account for the free video (also no reply from support or on my forum thread). Turning in for the night now, let's hope it gets resolved tomorrow :(

    I heard back from Support and they told me how to get the video. 
     
    I don't know why this couldn't have been made clearer somewhere as it would have saved me logging on unnecessarily to my usual store account every 5 minutes to see if the video was there, support emails and user frustration. 
     
    So for anyone else wondering where their free video is the answer is:
     
    1. DO NOT log on to your usual store account, you won't find it there.
    2. Create a single-sign on account using this link cakewalk.com/my-account . There is no single-sign on option by the way that's just how the support guy described it. He meant to just register a new account using the same email address as used in the store account you used to buy X3 Producer.
    3. Activate the account and when you log on you will see the video and a redeem button. Click on the button to download the video.

    Something new. Thanks for posting the details. Cakewalk has been moving to SSO for a few months. This looks like the first delivery made using the new account structure.

    I did as above. And as before  I also created this account. I login'd but no video.

    Can anyone help?  Im doing the above directions and alothough I can download all my previous purchases, I cant get a link to the Free "Virtual Instruments Revealed" tutorial that was supposed to come with my upgrade.

    I just sent a PM to several Cakewalk folks, on your behalf - hopefully they can work with you to get everything squared away.
     
    It's a bit of a bummer when things sometimes just fall through the cracks.  The Cakewalk folks really DO try to get everyone fixed up as soon as they become aware of an issue - hopefully it will get fixed soon for you.
