Some interesting and intensely freaky Swedish prog rock
I just found these guys making pigs of themselves while surfing the old you tube....thought anyone who appreciates the whole Zappa side of the musical spectrum might appreciate this great musicianship....

Yeah me too....at first I thought "oh, here we go. More of this...." but a few minutes in I was hooked.

Focus! I had one of their albums on tape when I was a kid and I totally wore it out. That brings back memories.

Cool song. For Swedish bands I'm listening a lot to the new Harmony album. https://www.facebook.com/harmonyswedenNot strictly prog but more of a mix of metal and prog. Leser prog than Dream Theater, but more catchy straight metal.

Thoroughly enjoying this. Thanks Sharke. On the "Cool Scandanavian Prog Front", I will offer up the very awesome Anglagard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngLxOB-ZNuw Gets going about a minute in. If Yes and Primus had a baby, and that baby was lovingly raised in a household of Zappa junkies who moonlighted as chamber musicians, it might sound like this.

Sorry, the only thing I felt compelled to do was turn it off. Strangely boring, repetitive and constricted in range. Plus they have the stage presence of the clean up crew at the sheltered workshop.

Apparently, people think that's the only song they wrote! Well, all I can say is those people should check out the rest too. I've got 11 albums from them and they kick some major ass. Jan is like the original shredder in my book.
