"A Little Help From my Friends" Number 2 cover ever (Number 1 Watchtower) Number 1 Beatles cover ever Not sure about the ladies, but I never met a guy who didn't love Joe Cocker. Didn't he kindof put tie died t-shirts on the map or at least make middle America aware of them? I think his Woodstock shirt was the first one I saw. RIP Joe, and thanks.

https://m.youtube.com/results?q=beverly%20knight%20joe%20cocker&sm=3https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SECV5lKtxGkMy personal fave...after Mad Dogs and Englishmen...gave Beverly a run for her money...and that's goin some. Saw Joe once in the early eighties at an after hours club in Nashburg called Bogie's when we'd gotten off work. He had joined a local cult hero...and another personal fave, Pat McLaughlin, on stage to sing a set. He was doing a Dylan cover when his usual contorted passion over took him and he started to try and extricate himself from his t-shirt. Only he never quite made it. So he sang the last verse and out choruses of the song while flailing about with his shirt covering his head...his naked torso twitching...and the crowd going nuts. Me included. Big ups!! RIP, ol pal. Rock on!!
