select correct track in PRV

Hi,

I've done something stupid - probably hit a key inadvertently or something - but now when I double click on a MIDI clip, rather than open the PRV for that clip, it opens the PRV for the last track I was working on.

I've *always* just double clicked a clip to start editing it in PRV, but now I have to choose the correct track once I'm in the PRV.

Anyone know what I've done?
Thanks

- Intel i7 3770K 3.5GHz
- Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit
- Cakewalk by BandLab x64
- Reaper x64
- 16GB RAM
- Asus P8z77-V mobo - using the integrated Intel graphic card (HD4000)
- MOTU Ultralite AVB audio interface
I usually use ASIO set at 64 or 128 samples
er - that's it I think...

That is odd. I don't have a solution but hopefully someone will soon. In the meantime the PRV has a track selector built in as well as a track list for display. The track list needs to be enabled, though

hmmm - it was something weird with the screen set. I noticed that another song was fine - so I went back and checked my "safe" locked screenset in my problem song and it's OK too.

I just copied that to my "working" screen set and we're good to go.

    Thanks ;-)

I get the same thing now and then. You may find that the window you opened is loaded into Multidock even though multidock displays a different window. You then have to click on the correct tab to see the view you just opened.

When I open a PRV window in Multidock and lock it, then open a 2nd PRV window, the 3rd PRV window I open will replace the 1st PRV window that is not locked (the 2nd one). However, the PRV window that pops open for me to see is the locked window regardless of which one I was working in last or just opened.

In Multidock, unless a tab is locked, that slot will always display the current window from that view that you open.

Incidentally, if I unlock the 1st window after opening several other PRVs, any future PRV windows will open in that slot and the rest of the loaded PRVs tabs will remain in the Multidock. It takes some getting used to.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but I am experiencing several other bugs in X3e's PRV and have listed them in the Problems Forum.
