Fabfilter Pro Q1 used for $70 or Pro Q2 for $170?

Hi all,
I have been working in Ableton Live and found I've really missed the EQ in Sonar's Pro Channel. I was thinking of finally picking up the Pro Q. I can get the Q1 used for about $70, while the Q2 new is $170. I've seen the Q2 used for about $120, so I could wait for that as well.
Is the Q2 worth the extra investment, or is the Q1 awesome enough? :)

I think this one would look great floating over the Live GUI:

and it's a little less than half way in between $70 and $120

Pro-Q2 just adds some nice but noncritical refinements. Pro-Q1 would be just as capable as an equalizer.

The advantage of buying Pro-Q2 new is you'd then qualify for discounts on future FabFilter purchases.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I have found that I really enjoy the slope choices, which I use on the lo-cut to tailor the clean, and the Tilt filter is getting a lot of use for general purpose shaping.

    James,
When I was speaking about the slope features and the tilt shift I was speaking about Pro-Q 2.

SIR StandardEQ has the slope features but it doesn't have the tilt shift filter. You can easily use a shelf filter and the output gain to replicate a tilt shelf in SIR StandardEQ.

I've got the Tonelux Tilt from Softube, so I think I might have that base covered.

    thanks Mike!
