Sonar Home Studio Project in Sonar X3

I just upgraded from Sonar Home Studio XL Ver. 7 to Sonar X3 Home Studio on a new computer. How can I open my old project files in the new program without the audio disappearing? Thanks in advance for the tips.

Is SONAR HS7 installed on the machine? If so, does it open the projects correctly?

Do you use per-project audio files or a global audio folder? If a global audio folder make sure X3 Preferences > File > Audio Data "Global Audio Folder" is pointed to the folder the wav files were copied to on the new machine.

I copied the folder with the Cakewalk Project in it and tried to open it in the new program, which said the audio files weren't found.

I Have the options of saving a project as "Normal," "Template," "Cakewalk Bundle," and then 4 different MIDI formats.
