What can this laptop do?

I am hoping I can use an older laptop to do some work in Sonar while I'm away from my studio.
 
What's the latest version of Sonar this laptop can run?
 
Windows XP, SP 3
Core2 Duo
T7200 @ 2.00GHz
997 MHz, 1.99 GB RAM
 
Or am I dreaming?

    I think the original version of X2 will run on XP
     
    I believe X2a onwards requires at least Windows 7
     
    The RAM looks a little light but I ran X2 on a similar spec machine quite happily
     
    If you are not heavy with the softsynths I think you will be fine
     
    Sonar 8.5 or X1 may be your best bet though

    SONAR X2 without the X2a update. But if I had a version of SONAR released around the date of manufacture, I would use it instead.
