V Control Pro - Problems

Anybody got this thing working? I'm Trying to use V Control Pro with X3e. Some things working fine but, other things are not working at all. I remember reading a while back that Cakewalk had worked with Neyrick on compatability but, I'm having quite a few issues. One of the biggest issues is the fact that the main screen that shows the first 8 faders, will not advance to other channels. Will not move by channel or by bank. Won't move at all. So far, it feels like I wasted 50 bucks.

So, nobody has V Control Pro working with Sonar? I'm still trying to get all it's features to work. I've been talking with JoshuaV over at Neyrinck but, so far, still no solution. Just thought it might be helpful if anybody else has it working that could share a little insight?

You may get more luck by posting on the Sonar forum. The post is directly related to Sonar and lot of people my not look here.

I totally agree but, I did post it in the Sonar forum originally but, the moderators booted it over to here.

Probably better off here given all the buzz about the new release of SONAR. The new release chatter is burying support threads. If you elect to make another post in the SONAR forum, I would suggest adding a link this thread along with a request to leave the post in the SONAR forum for a while. I expect the new thread would be left alone.

    Only just seen this...

V-Control works for me OK, though I've seen it suddenly decide to fail to switch bank/channel a couple of times. Restarting Sonar fixed it. I'm inclined to think it's a V Control issue rather than a Sonar one, though if you've been editting Sonar's controller settings from the command bar pulldown sometimes they don't seem to "take" unless you restart Sonar. If you've not done so it's worth looking at the V Control help document which gives some details of setting up V Control with Sonar.
