Understood Sir! Mix one sounds more open and has more space. Mix two sounds messy, squished and not pleasant, to my furry ears, your Vox sounds buried on this version. This is of course just the subject perspective of a furry eared alien. As you might guess mix one gets my vote. Thanks for sharing your talents James, Daryl and Ed.

I'm inclined to agree with the furry one. I prefer the more airy sound of mix one, although it might benefit from a slightly beefier bottom end. Mix two has a little too much beef. As noted, it sounds squished, and that jet flanger kind of overwhelms the mix. Nice soaring guitar, James. Good job all around, guys.

I only heard version one but it sounded pretty good here. I don't know the original version - or is this it - but it has some neat time signature changes.

I like the song and playing. I think the mix is not done yet. On my speakers, the kick is way loud, lead vocal next, lead guitar next and then the rest of instruments. So, r guitars, piano, snare, rim, seem too far back. It's all good and sounds like you really enjoy this so my comments are only if you were looking for some technical feedback.

Better Mix 2. I like the song and playing so don't take offense at mix comments. It is edgy and bright around 3-5K. A bit harsh on good monitors. Maybe on laptop speakers it would sound better. If seems like a mix EQ or high end saturation was applied. It is not the warmer sound I have hear before. Anyway, good job you guys.
