No sound. Need Help.

Okay, let me explain what happens as best I can.
I hit start a new project.
I use the first track with my midi keyboard.
I record something small. (just trying to make a jingle.)
I hit insert new template.
I click on the "icon" next to the track number.
It pulls up the piano where I can click the keys or use my midi keyboard.
No sound.
It only recognizes sound for the first track. Nothing is muted. My speakers work fine. I don't know what's wrong because I made a jingle on my laptop and this problem did not occur.
 
What's wrong?

    You will need to learn about soft synths. When you say you get sound from track 1, we need more details.   Are you recording it as midi or audio?
     
    So basically, midi makes not sound on it's own. You can record it all day long and no sound will happen. You must send that midi to a soft synth that you inserted and selected a patch or sample....then you can get audio.

    Ignore that the site says MC4 & 5... the procedure is still valid.  In place of my focusrite.... your interface or sound card should be used..... start at the top and work through the page.
     
    See if that solves the issue.
