Please update to the latest drivers and firmware for your MAudio interface:
http://uk.m-audio.com/support/drivers If you have a BSOD it's likely a hardware issue or software that is related to your drivers, the Sonar update may have brought out the issue into the foreground.
As this is a USB interface you might also want to go to intel autoupdate webpage to install the latest chipset drivers, and get the latest BIOS for your motherboard from the manufacturer.
Finally if you haven't run Windows update in a while you should (also install most optional updates).
Always back up!
