Maybe it is true love and they cannot help themselves. It is a bit foolish I agree.

In such a case, all the best to them. :) I mean, Page is one of my biggest heroes after all, though it's all about music, so if he's happy... It's not so much judging him and his lady, more that I have a tough time grasping having enough in common to build any relation with someone so young. I'm only 42, and probably don't have thousandth of the life experience the man has, yet it eludes me.

Well when Jimmy was 46, she was wearing her first newborn diapers. Around the same time (give or take a year), Alice in Chains released their first album Facelift and Nirvana released Nevermind. Soon, she'll be changing Jimmy's diapers.

Apparently he did. Better, as in much worst. Just read that he had an affair with a 14 years old in the 70's. Definitely something I don't look up to him for, to put it politely.

I think the question is, "What wouldn't Jimmy Page do?".
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I've always been attracted to older women. Women of my own age or younger didn't interest me nearly as much, especially on a platonic level. However the girl I've been with for the last two and a half years or so is 16 years my junior and I've never felt more comfortable with anyone. I've never really been one for long term relationships, mainly because I end up getting bored, irritated and annoyed with girlfriends. Not their fault of course, just my own inevitable grouchiness kicking in. But I've never once felt irritated or annoyed in the company of my present girlfriend. What usually happens is that I start to get resentful when I'm not getting enough "me time." I'd have an evening alone mapped out, usually involving my guitar and a volume of Bach, and the phone would ring. "Can I come over?" WINCE! But amazingly enough, this girl who is 16 years younger than me has never inspired that kind of grouchiness in me. She can interrupt my evening alone anytime and I'm truly happy to have her over. Not once has her age ever been an issue. I realize that she probably wishes I was a few years younger. But in terms of getting along and enjoying each other's company, we just don't feel like different ages at all. Obviously the older you are, the more life experience you have, the more stories you have to tell, the more you know about human nature etc. But that doesn't mean you can't connect as humans. If there's a spark, there's a spark.
