[SOLVED] Midi Files with System Ex & Program Change

Hi.
I must be missing something really easy to answer, but im struggling all the same.
Ive had this happen with a number of midi files I download and play with for my own entertainment.

Ill start the midi file project off using Cakewalk TTS and then start re-assigning the midi track to various other better sounding virtual instruments, but the volumes and patches of the new virtual synths keep changing automatically, Im assuming it has some form of data in there to change them as the original author intended. When i go to the piano roll, i cant see the 'events' in question, so then i took a peek into the Event List but still can't see the 'events' that are changing the data.

How can I see them, in order to delete them?

Kind Regards

Take a look in the Events view for all the tracks. I suspect something is in there. There may even be a track with only controller events for the other channels.

insert the following line into your ttsseq.ini file:
GeneralMidiSMFs=0
This will reveal the "hidden" cc messages

From the help file:
GeneralMidiSMFs=<0 or 1>
Boolean
1 (enable)
This line controls whether or not SONAR creates a General MIDI setup measure when loading Standard MIDI Files.
