Group of fans completely re-record Metallica's "St Anger"

I have to say, it sounds a lot better than the original:

    How cool is that!

Those songs weren't that bad after all - even though they're a bit too similar one to another as a whole. But playing them w/ some drive make them come through a whole lot better.

In retrospective, it's kind of ironic that an album called St. Anger which should all-attitude lacked balls...

That being said, one has to wonder if it would have been possible to do worst than Metallica...

The vocals bug me a bit, though for the biggest part they're good -  but there are a couple of weaker spots. Nothing a good producer wouldn't have managed to get right.

Too bad they don't sell it - I could have listened to that thing in the gym.

This is how they got the snare sound for St. Anger.

I avoided that album after hearing the title track, but comparing the two 'Frantic's, the fans' version sounds much better. The mix and sounds on the original are just...wrong.
