real time automation, vol, panning

i was doing my reports and experiments in DAWs like: Logic, prootols both regular and HD, Mixcraft, SamplItude, adobe audition, cubase, reason, abolition live and sonar. 
 
and i found that everything actually, but it's missing one thing to be complete.
 
real automation, vol and panning, which is basically when you move your vol up or down the real waveform change. Mixing or editing sometimes get tricky to your ears so having both your eyes and ears working together is something no one did yet. 
 
not just in vol but also it might work for panning to you can see where is your sound now is it more for the left or right. that could help a lot.
 
also while doing automation, the vol in the waveform changes that could help to get better results.
 
i found that SampIlute did the vol thing. but they didn't complete it. and non of the programs did that. yet it's very helpful while editing and mixing.
