No sooner than I spend my money, they announce a brand new product

So i bought an Akai MPK261 and I havent even had it for a few weeks and they've already announced a brand new product.
I assume its just the same thing I've got minus a few controls, with a fancy new display on the keyboard.

I'm still happy with what I got though. I can use it and it fits my needs. Plus it's still very recent.

Thought I'd at least vent my minor disappointment here

MPK261? or The new model I mentioned?
I bought the MPK261 because of the reviews on how its built. It has a metal plate that runs all the way through the bottom. My favorite feature would probably be the amount of knobs, faders, and drum pads I get. I havent had time to mess with it much so don't take it as final, but that's what I like so far.

As far as the new announced Advanced keyboards. I like the look of the VIP software and the display screen on the board.

Same thing happened to me when I purchased my MOTU UltraLite mk3, a couple of weeks later they came out with the hybrid model which adds USB connectivity, for the same price. Mine is firewire only.
