Addictive Drums 2 with new Sonar
I wonder if XLN Audio will do what they did the last time for those who own AD2 already?

Forgive my slowness this morning. Does this mean if I buy the Platinum version I get 3 AD Paks?

Yes, I registered the new AD2 serial/Reg ID number and I got to choose 3 new ADpacks (plus 3 admidi/3 ad kit pieces) even though I upgraded to AD2 previously, I still got to choose more stuff free! If you have AD2 already installed you don't need to reinstall it, which I am glad as I currently have a slow internet speed at home and XLN doesn't let you download files on one pc and execute/install on another to my knowledge.

+1 Getting three AD Paks is a really, really nice addition. I'm loving the Fairfield Vol 1 and Black Velvet kits, so more kits is just mo better.

Apologies if this question has already been answered elsewhere . . . So, if I currently have AD1 (came with X3 Producer) and then sign on to the new Sonar deal, which includes AD2 plus 3 ADpaks, am I able to keep the kits from AD1 AND add the 3 ADpaks? I ask because this will influence which ADpaks I choose with the upgrade.

I just downloaded and installed Platinum, and I already had AD2 from X3e. How do I get 3 new AD paks for AD2? I went to the xln site, but I can't figure out how to acquire the new paks that I appear to be entitled to. edit: nevermind, I got it!

Lynn - I think there should be a XLN registration code either in C3 or your cake store account. Register that with XLN.

As I found out by looking further, this is true. The downloads were on the xln installer, which I found by scrolling down and clicking on the producer bundle and using the registration code from the Sonar command center. This made me very happy, as I have come to regard highly the AD drums.
