Quick upgrade question - revert?

Was a quick & easy 'revert' process ever created?  How about side x side installation on the same machine?

    Pretty sure new version installs as a separate stand-alone version, just like all previous versions have done.
    Some plugins / libraries might be shared, but unless you uninstall older versions, they'll all be available.

    The new version installs like every other version before. The main program is in a separate directory. The utilities and plug-ins are shared by all versions. Still a good idea to backup and make a restore point prior to installation. If something goes wrong, it might make recovery easier. Going forward, the Command Center has roll back built in but there is nothing to roll back to with the initial install.
