***SESSION DRUMMER IN X2***

Hi Folks,
   I open SD3, then choose a beat from the browser and drag it into the track. So far so good, but when I open the track in the Step Sequencer for editing, the only drums that show are the ones programmed on the beat. How can I get the remaining drums to show up on the list for editing? If I choose the plus button above the drum names, it just adds the same drum over and over. The other thing is that even though I've read the info, I'm still a little confused about how to unlink an iteration of a drum beat, say, to add a fill or something. Thank you for putting up with stupid questions.
