Couple of questions/suggestions regarding the CUSTOM MODULE in Platinum

First off, my initial impressions of Platinum are very favourable.

I haven't delved into all of the new features as yet, but for me anyway, there are some serious work-flow enhancements I'm really liking. Specifically, the Custom Module for the Control Bar

However (if these things are not already possible), might I tentatively suggest a few small 'improvements' that would make this feature even better:
  1. It would be really cool to be able to assign more than nine buttons to the Custom Module. Nine is very nice, but being able to add more would be even better.
  2. If '1' above is not a possibility, would it be possible to allow more than one instance of the Custom Module to be placed on the Control bar.
  3. Not a biggie, but would be nice to be able to drag the buttons around in the Custom Module into any order you liked. At the moment, to set the buttons up in (a logical) order, you have to assign each button in turn.

Seeing as we're talking about the Custom Module...

I gotta believe that the "Choose command" list is a work-in-progress. Seriously? A popup, non-searchable menu of cryptic commands in random order?

Definitely not elegant. Or particularly usable. That said, I'd rather have it than not.

I don't think CW want to take this too far or we'll be back to zillions of tool icons a la 8.5!

bounce to clip and bounce to track both appear as 'Bounce to' due to the limited character space on the buttons.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the text wasn't rendered as "BncTClp". ;-)

As Noel says, this is a work-in-progress. I love the Custom Module but there are definitely some improvements I'd like to see. I don't display every module and there is plenty of room for a wider Custom Module, but no matter how wide they make the buttons, they'll still be a point at which the text is either unreadable or truncated. I'm comfortable with the compromise they decided on.
