Bit Rate /Sample Rate

What is the "standard" Bit Rate and Sample Rate folks are using now?

I've been at 44.1/24 for a long time and wonder if this is still pretty much considered "standard."

Thanks.

me too, except when finished and exporting a song to wave file, I go to 192 sample rate (my soundcard doesn't go up to 382)
and the lowest buffer size for the soundcard.
I do this for 1 reason only, lower the Sonar roundtrip latency from approx 20ms down to 4ms.
Just sounds 'fresher' and more 'real'.
I cannot run these settings all the time....crashes all the time (probably soundcard related).

    good luck

    24bit 48kHz here

except when field recording for sound design work. then I always record @ 96kHz. it gives you freedom to pitch the sounds down more before then start sounding bad.
