My first mix session in Sonar Platinum

I just finished my first mix session in Platinum and I am really impressed. The session had about 18 tracks of drums instruments and vocals. I ran Slate VCC on all channels and busses, Slate VTM and VBC, Concrete Limiter on the Master Buss. And a host of other dynamic and FX plugins on the channels.

Platinum ran beautifully and my mix came together very smoothly. The vocal alignment tool is really cool too. The Mix recall is fantastic!!! It was really cool to compare the line mix to the finished mix.

I did find a bug... when I added a Pro Channel preset that I created to the tracks and busses, the name of the preset only displayed in the Inspector window. Somewhere down the line, the name would update in the Console view.

Overall I give Cake "2 Thumbs Up"! I'm really excited about Platinum!

    Thinking of posting the recording?

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

was thinking the other day, would be nice to have a forum corner where we 'Sonarians' could drop projects and others could download.
Fe, someone working on song and cannot get a bass or synth part right....any Sonar user wanting to have a go could try that way.
But technically that would not be possible probably on the forum as you would need servers/a dropbox like thing...
