Crackle with adding automation of Eq mode.

So I have a very specific problem. When I add an automation for changing the equalizer mode, I get a crackling in the track. This does not happen for any other automation. I was just wondering if this has happened for anyone else or if anyone has noticed this at all.
To add the equalizer mode automation it is under z2ta ->  Delay 1 Mid Eq -> Eq Mode. Even when I add at strait line to keep it at one mode I still get this problem, so it is not like I am constantly changing the Eq mode.

What sorts of latency values are currently reported in Sonar, and what is your driver mode?

Also, have you tried either increasing your Prepare Using XXXXX milliseconds time up from the new default of 250  -up to perhaps 500, 750, or 999, or adjusting the ASIO Buffer Size up to the next level - such as raising up from 64 to 128, or 128 to 256?

I am using the asio driver. I also tried messing with the buffer size as well but that did nothing. My latency is 22kHz or 512 samples a second. It's just strange because only having the Eq automation clip makes it click. It's not really too big of a deal because I can just add another synth with a different Eq mode and that will solve my problem. Just thought it was strange because when I add any other automation clip it does not give me this problem. Thanks for you help I appreciate it very much.
