What do we get for $200 a year?
How many major fixes, improvements etc. are we guarantied per year. Aside from phone support, What am I guarantied for my thousand dollars in the next five years?

Are you serious? Are you expecting any of the Bakers to know what they'll be coding 2, 3 or 4 years from now?
During the next 12 months you'll be getting all the updates which when put together in a single package would have been call X5 next year. You're getting it all in advance as each bit is finished. You'll also be getting additional content.

Of course not. I'm just trying to get my posts up A LITTLE. It's lame to have so little posts since 2009. I could have posted something intelligent but then I wouldn't have gotten, (ARE YOU SERIOUS?). Things have been a bit tense around here. I think I'll go check my crystal ball to see who will win the superbowl. I think this post belongs in the coffee house. Or in the future.

Way ahead of you. The Bakers have the number one DAW in the world that has every feature that can be imagined and is rock solid. In the X3035 version all you have to do is speak your commands. We don't have fingers in 3035.

So... I'm still kinda in the dark.... but.... if I understand it, Sonar is going to some type of subscription basis where you pay $200 a year and get the updates automatically......
As opposed to spending the full price of the standalone Sonar.... at $300+ ( I think that's right since I have never bought the flagship Sonar.....) If you are the kind of person who has to have the newest version every year..... I'm thinking the $200/yr deal rocks.... if that's what you need.
I'm still running X1 essentials so I probably won't be signing up any time soon.

I'm still on X1d Expanded (has all I need). Also of note is that the monthly payment amount is variable & based on the version you currently have a license for. Could be as high as $49.99 though.

If it came with Platypus, then I'm still none the wiser as to what I've got.
Maybe it's 'bugger all'. That would certainly count as a surprise.....
But not a 'nice' surprise. And certainly not very 'special'.
