[Solved] Prochannel EQ issue in Platinum
Trying to enable the EQ in Prochannel on the master bus, get this popup message:
"You are currently using the Sonitus:fx EQ on this channel. To upgrade to the new Prochannel EQ, discard the Sonitus:fx EQ by Control + click on this button."
The Prochannel is in it's default state of opening; I have not added any modules to it, or enabled any of the existing modules. I get this message when I try to enable the EQ. There are no plugins in the master bus FX bin. I can enable any of the other default modules in the Prochannel without any issues. I can also add modules to the Prochannel with no problems.

Is this an older project you are opening in Platinum, for the first time, where you had the EQ enabled in your master Bus? This what happens with older pre X series projects in the X series and Platinum version of SONAR.

I was unable to reproduce this. I tried it on an old project started in X3 and also a new project started in Platinum. If I come across this at any point, I will come back here and let you know.

It's a project that I started in X3e. It did have the EQ enabled, but I did disable it before I upgraded to Platinum.
Now I can't do anything with it.

What do you mean you "can't do anything with it"?
If you want to use the Pro Channel EQ click the button and then the Pro channel EQ can be used.
True you will loose all the setting but you could take note of them by opening in X3 and then re opening in Platinum, unless you have already saved in Platinum.

This is, to some extent at least, by design.
X1 introduced the PC EQ as the default console EQ. But before that, the Sonitus was embedded in the console as the default EQ.
So when trying to use PC EQ via the console (or inspector) in projects that were pre-X1, and already used the Sonitus, you were given this message.
I always thought it was badly-worded, as it happens. What it's really saying is "this channel currently uses the Sonitus EQ; do you want to switch it to the PC EQ or not?"
So... I think you've either got an old project with Sonitus console EQ active, or you've found a new bug in how Sonar decides that.

Have you done what it says : "To upgrade to the new Prochannel EQ, discard the Sonitus:fx EQ by Control + click on this button."?
Until you do you'll get this message every time you try to use the PCEQ

Sorry Jonesey. Yes, I have done what the message says, and it has allowed me to use the EQ now. I was just answering a couple of questions that were asked earlier, to clarify the situation. I realize that I should have also stated that the problem was solved, my bad. Thanks for all the help folks.
