Ad2 & Ezdrummer 2...
Hi guys iv got ezdrummer2(a lot of midi packs)...i wondered if the midi packs could be used in AD2 as im defo getting Platinum?????

I have read in this forum a few months back where people who own both of these products said they compliment each other. It is easier to put midi beats together in EZD and use the sound of AD (not sure 2 or 1 but I believe their map sound be identical). I do know for certain that AD2 can be configured easily to receive General midi drum patterns.
It is also very easy to move drum notes that are created or maped differently in PRV view. That, however is a different story for another day.

Toontracks EZ Player Pro makes it real easy to use one drum sampler with other midi. You just open up EZ Player and the sampler you want to use, say Abbey Road 70's. You set a few things the way you want, choose the "map wrap" and done in 20 seconds. I have all my midi in EZ PLayer and I can use "Odd Grooves" midi with Superior Drummer or Abbey Rd 50's midi with EZ Drummer 2. If I recall you had to contact AD and ask for a copy of the midi you own to put it somewhere else because you can't find it in any of the AD programs folders. AD is the only one that takes any effort to import into EZ Player. Everything else you just drag them in. I even made a "Styles" Library where I have,say, Indie and then all the Indie midi I have is in one place instead of bouncing around to build an Indie track. Just wanted to tell everyone...I have your PM's and will send you guys the map when I get home. EZ Player Pro does look like it would be worth having, but EZD2 and AD2 are the only drum samplers I try to maintain. This stuff gets expensive after a while! Hahaha.

Just had a little play with the map and awesome it works great! I've been wanting to do this since day 1, I got both AD2 and EZD2 on their respective release days with the hope I could do this :) - Awesome stuff.
