Faders... Yummy...
A very good friend of ours is moving back and selling a couple of things including his Command 8 control surface... Though it's somewhat older unit, his is in mint condition and quite a bargain.
I'm quite used to mixing with the mouse and I never put much thought in control surfaces for mixing because most of what I could have afforded didn't have motorized faders and no display of any kind. And this usually mean that you only make your workflow more complex - you still have to rely on mouse and keyboard extensively.
But this one seems particularly interesting. I just don't want to put money into something that'll end up gathering dust. Even though it's actually quite a bargain, after checking what these go for on eBay...
Any of you guys have added that type of surface to - or removed it from - your set up. Your thoughts?
